Its one of the changes i have the biggest issuse with because i always hated it in games like this because there is usually a section you are stuck with a pistol or knife and your character is to dumb to pick up a rifle off the first goon they kill or you will fight some special ops dudes with great weapons you dont have access to yet and arent allowed to pick up.Īlso in Far cry i find being able to grab an RPG or a sniper off a dead dude in a clutch to be very useful and worth the one or two times where i accidentally drop my gun and lose a few rounds of ammo when looting and from what ive seen you dont need to loot npc's anymore just walk over them for the ammo and money so its not like having weapon pick ups would get in the way anymore, it seems carrying bodies is the only interaction you have with them.
